What happens after I purchase a Website package?
After you purchase one of Website or E-commerce Packages, a Project Manager will contact you to gather more details about your business and get everything started. Then, we will begin collecting the content you want to put up on your website. At the same time, we will get your domain name and email set up for your website. Next, a Web Designer will design & develop your website while continuously keeping in contact with you to make sure everything stays on track. Finally, we launch your website and submit it to the search engines!
 
What will my Website look like?
 

Each Website we develop is custom designed for that particular business. We work with you to make sure your Website is designed to look professional and meet the goals of you and your customers.

If you have a design in mind (or have seen a similar design on the Web that you like), we will be glad to do our best to re-create that design for your business (of course, with your own look & feel, colors and pictures). Or if you're unsure about which design direction to take, you can always let our professional Web designers create something new and original for you.

 
Who maintains my site?

Inferno Sites offers maintenance with each package. After the package term is up, we offer a monthly maintenance service depending upon how often you want your site updated. That way, you don't have to worry about anything technical. You just tell us what you want and we handle the rest.

If you purchase a Website Package, you can select a maintenance package that fits your needs, or choose no maintenance. If you decide not to choose a maintenance plan and want us to update your site, then we bill $55.00 for each hour of maintenance work (billed to the nearest half an hour).

 
Do I get access to my FTP space?

Yes and No. If you select our monthly maintenance service plan, then we do not provide FTP access. The reason for this is because it can get very difficult determining who has the latest version of the web pages, files, etc. However, if you do not select our monthly maintenance plan, then you do receive full FTP access.

And of course, we sometimes break our own rules -- so if you really need FTP access and maintenance, just contact us and we can go over the details.

 
What makes up a "Web Page"?

A standard Web Page is an HTML page made up of graphics/pictures and text. Usually a Web Page contains a few pictures and around 750 words.

If you're wondering how many Web Pages your Website needs, think of a page as a topic -- so you could have an About Us page, a Contact Us page, a FAQ page, a Products page, a Services page, etc. If you have a lot of products or services, you may even want to break them up into additional pages so you can describe them in more detail.

Of course every Website has to have a Home Page -- the first page visitors see when they go to your website address (e.g. www.InfernoSites.com).

Our E-commerce Packages come with 10 standard pages (Home Page, About Us, Contact Us, Help, Privacy Policy and Search), plus a number of product pages depending on which package you select. If you would like more Web pages for your E-commerce Package, we can add those at an additional cost.

If you would like your Web pages to perform special functions -- such as an online application, form or database, please contact us up to receive a custom quote.

 
Does my E-commerce Package come with a merchant account?
No. If you would like to accept and process credit cards through your E-commerce site, you will need need to sign up for an online merchant account.
 
Can my current merchant account be connected to my E-commerce site?
It is unlikely that your current merchant account will be able to be connected to your E-commerce website to process credit cards. Please contact us if you have questions about your current merchant account.
 
What happens when my agreement term is up?

You have several options:

You can continue paying for your monthly service with no commitment.
You can cancel your service. (We hope you don't select this option.)
You can sign up for a new 1 or 2 year agreement.

 
If I already own a domain name, what do I need to do?
Please contact us to get more information on pointing your domain name to your website designed & hosted by Inferno Sites.
 
What is a domain name?
A domain name is your web address on the World Wide Web. Example domain names are infernosites.com, microsoft.com, apple.com and cnn.com.
 
How long will it take to build my site?
Websites Packages will take between 5 and 20 business days to complete once Inferno Sites receives all the final content. E-commerce Packages will take 15 to 30 business days to complete once we receive all the final product information and content. If you need a rush job, let us know -- many times we can speed things up
 
Will my site be unique?

Yes! Each site is professionally designed and developed for your business. It will have its own custom design (look & feel), your company's logo, pictures, colors, styles and more!

We are a full-service design company, in other words, we don't use pre-made templates to design your Website. It's all made fresh, right out of the digital oven!

 
Do I get a copy of my website?

Yes. Upon request we will email you a zipped file of all your Website files including HTML files and graphics. If you would like your Website on a disk or CD, we can provide that for a small additional charge.

For E-commerce sites, you will receive all your files, graphics and pictures, however, the code for the shopping cart cannot be included since it is installed directly with our servers.

When and how will I be charged for my Website?
We bill 50% of the expected estimate of the site upfront before the project begins. Then after it is completed to your satisfaction the remainder of the cost is due. After the package hosting term is over. You can elect to have an annual plan or a quarterly plan to pay hosting and maintenance fees.
 
What is your cancellation policy?
You have 48 hours after purchasing your Web package to cancel for a full refund. After 48 hours you will be charged the 50% deposit.
 
Is there a minimum length of contract?
Yes. You select a 6 month minimum contract or the perferred annual service agreement with Inferno Sites.
 
Can I keep my domain name if I chose to cancel my Inferno Sites service?
Yes. We register your domain name in your name. If you decide to cancel your Inferno Sites service, we will give you all the necessary information to access your domain name.
